Axel Springer Plug is an accelerator, located in Berlin, launched in 2013. It provides global opportunities in Europe and Silicon Valley for digital entrepreneurs. During the three­month­long program, the chosen startups can take part in several events, workshops, learn about financing, and meet A­list speakers. The program ends with the Demo Day, where startups pitch in front of an elite audience of local and international venture capital firms for additional seed and Series A funding. The participating startups also have the chance to meet Silicon Valley investors and visit the Valley.
